Forgot password — Owner / Employee

I. Overview
Section titled “I. Overview”The shared Forgot password screen (/forgot-password) is the recovery flow for the dashboard side (i.e. /login for employees and /vendor-login for owners). It exposes an Owner / Staff toggle that pins the request to one vendor type.
II. URL variants

The cashier-only flow /cashier-login/forgot-password does not have a toggle at all (cashier is the only allowed type there). See Forgot password — Cashier.
III. Step-by-step
Section titled “III. Step-by-step”-
Pick your vendor type (only if the toggle is shown).
- Owner → for store accounts.
- Staff → for employee accounts.

Enter your email and click “Send code”.
- A 6-digit OTP is emailed to you (valid 10 minutes).

Enter the OTP at
/verify-otp(see Verify OTP). -
Set a new password at
/reset-password(see Reset password). -
Sign in again at the original screen (
/loginor/vendor-login).
IV. Common errors
